A East Midlands based manufacturing company employing 220 people and supplying the automotive market.

The challenge

Creating a talent retention programme for key talent. The organisation had seen key talent leave for larger industry players and needed to improve the retention rate through developmental growth.

The outcome

In our experience SME's need quick results and due to their size creating pace is often easier than in large organisations. This project took 12 days over 3 months and delivered:

  • The creation and implementation of a leadership competency model that supported the organisations growth plans;
  • Talent review and validation of key employees with senior management team against agreed criteria;
  • Development actions agreed with senior management linked to robust retention plan for identified employees;
  • Individuals supported in their learning via coaching and attendance where suitable on our open talent development programme;
  • Ongoing support via our platform so talent management was continued and skills developed in-house.
